Numerous studies have confirmed that businesses delivering value to all their stakeholders – customers, colleagues, communities, and the capital markets – outperforms competitors in the long run. The Institute for Real Growth (IRG) Impact Study identifies best practices to support the shift from shareholder primacy to stakeholder value creation.
The Impact Study finds that value creation for all stakeholder – the IRG has dubbed this ‘Humanized Growth’ – requires more effective collaboration across an organization’s functional silos, and especially a successful partnership between the corporate CMO and CIO. A good CMO-CIO partnership allows the organization to drive competitive advantage through Martech and other technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) and align the business with technology goals such as data-led decision making and increased customer engagement. This is the premise of the report, “The Future of Growth: Unlocking the CMO-CIO partnership.”
The report is the result of conversations with some 80 CMO and CIOs and aligns the key Impact Study findings with the day-to-day reality of the CMOs and CIOs at some of the world’s most successful companies.
